Elegant jewelry boxes

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

Today, we have watch jewelry boxes, earring jewelry boxes, other types of boxes for jewelry, but years ago, pretty much everything was put into elegant jewelry boxes. The boxes can be designed in a wide variety of ways. For her wedding day, my daughter got her bridesmaids jewelry boxes, and one for herself as well. She purchased a lot of things besides that, including her accesssories and reception supplies. No matter what look your going for at your wedding, a specific theme or a more customary look, you’ll find loads of suggestions there. The décor my daughter and her groom went with had a fairy tale look and feel to it. She really did look like Cinderella at the ball in her lovely wedding gown and long veil, and I must admit my son in law looked just as good as Prince Charming in his stunning tux. The ceremony was delightful. They left the wedding chapel in style, with a man in a tall white hat and long tails on his coat driving them away in a horse drawn carriage.
At the reception, tulle with tiny white lights was draped in a circle and there were elegant flower vases placed everywhere around the room. The tables at the reception had silvery sparkles and wonderful flower arrangements, and the bride and groom table sat in front of an arrangement of red and white roses with ivy strung along an arch. For place card holders she found these silver dove tea light holders that really added glimmer to her settings. The small jewelry boxes each woman at the wedding got as a favor had crystals and flowers beautifully interwoven in their design. The men were given little key chains with the well known frog prince as a charm. The girls that were in the wedding party got creative wooden, silver plated discount jewelry boxes that had black velvet lining. My daughter and son in law had each of them engraved with the bride and grooms name and date of the wedding. The bridesmaids were very appreciative of what my daughter gave them as a thank you gift. The affordable jewelry box I saw looked like an realy expensive jewelry box! The men each got a commemorative inscription in a small plaque and a set of wine related gifts. Those were great, one of a kind thank you gifts, in my opinion.
Her wedding cake topper was a really unique little dream castle that really showed off the lovliness of their three tiered wedding cake. My daughter picked out champagne flutes and a cake serving set to tie in with the fairytale-themed cake. Many of her decorations and supplies were top of the line, but she came in well below where I had expected on their wedding budget. They were firm about the fact that they did not want us to cover the bills from the wedding even though, as parents of the bride, we made it clear to them that we expected to pay for everything.
The first dance for the bride and groom was like something in a movie, and it was very emotional for me. It was as if I were watching the real prince and princess in the Cinderella story dancing together. You would have thought that it was a real princess tossing her garter the way the guys jostled for position to get it; it was a very amusing sight to behold. My baby girl’s fantasies were fulfilled on a glorious wedding day, with all of her close friends and family members to share it with. Her ideal honeymoon is where they are at the moment, and I’m sure it will be wonderful, too. I can hardly wait for them to get back and tell me all about the fantastic sights they saw.

Discount jewelry boxes

Getting the products I needed for the ceremony and reception required some thought, but as I turned my attention to getting a present for my bridesmaids, it dawned on me that I had a long ways to go yet. I had a really difficult time finding exactly what I wanted to get for them. I saw all kinds of possiblities for wedding favors for bridesmaids and wedding guests on the Internet. But the hard part was picking out which was the best to buy. There were also a lot of great deals on thank you gifts that I found at a discount. One particular eight-piece set I found saved me a lot of money; it had a pillow for the ring bearer, a basket for the flower girl, a pen and sign-in book for guests, and several other things, all in one. That was a big savings. Instead of having to buy each piece separately, I was able to purchase it all together at a great low price.
While looking for the thank you gifts for my bridesmaids, I found a very special jewelry box I thought they all might like to have. In fact there were a few terrific wedding jewelry boxes that I could choose from. Since I was having such a hard time making up my mind on which one I wanted to order, I decided to move on to the rest of my wedding needs and get back to the thank you gifts for my girls later. I had some shopping to do yet for the reception; the ceremony was pretty well set. I didn’t have my wedding cake topper yet, nor did I have the wedding favors for my friends and family, so that’s where I went next. Bottle openers made of chrome in the form of birds of peace and salt and pepper shakers that looked like a couple on their wedding day were what I went with. Normally, I would have gotten some containers for the chrome openers, but the boxes they came in were so adorable that I just went with those. My man got the groomsmen a neat little multi-purpose tool that had a tiny scissors and a toothpick and all kinds of weird gadgets.
We got a figurine of a bride and groom holding each other to put at the top of our cake. The newly weds were my ultimate choice, but I checked out a lot of options, and I nearly settled on one with crystals and initials written in silver. With all of the rest of it out of the way, it was time to make the call on a present for my bridemaids. They each got boxes for jewelry, and inside of it was some brilliant wedding jewelry. What I found for them was a shimmering rhinestone bracelet. It may sound like that was a bit extravagant, but it wasn’t. There were a lot of choices of discount wedding jewelry available, which meant I could get them something really nice, and still save money. I also got a some pearl wedding jewelry for myself, and wore it in my wedding ceremony. There are some really exquisite pieces to choose from, and less costly than you may imagine. The women in our wedding were elated with what I got them, and the men seemed pretty content with their thank you presents, too.
All my dreams came true on my wedding day; it was absolutely glorious. My groom’s brother caught the garter, and my sister, who’s also not dating anyone, managed to grab the bouquet. Might something come of it? Who knows, maybe one day they will be in our spot and my sister would then be my sister in law as well, that’s really weird. Anything is possible!
