The wedding I went to last week was all set up with elegant mikasa crystal accessories for all the reception tables. The tables just shined with lustre and elegance with all the different mikasa accessories.
They had lovely little place card holders that were the cutest silver doves, with bride and groom placecards on their tails. The elegance of her reception tables were enhanced by the lovely centerpieces she had chosen. A beautiful floral arrangement was placed around pillar candles as the centerpieces. They also chose very impressive thank you gifts for all of the guests. At every table setting was a lovely gift of mikasa crystal wedding favors. The favors boxes with the little thank you hang tags was almost as gorgeous as the mikasa crystal favors that were inside.
Their wedding cake was another spectacular sight to behold with five layers of luscious chocolate with chocolate cream cheese in between each layer. Their wedding cake topper was really extra special. Since she ordered most of her wedding supplies and decorations from an online wedding store, she decided to check out the cake toppers too, and found out they customize wedding cake toppers. The bride and groom on the cake topper look just like the wedding couple and they did this with only a couple head shot photos of the bride to be and her fiance. It was absolutely perfect. I had to find out where she ordered her wedding accessories from, the cake topper would be great for my mom and dads’ renewal wedding for their anniversary.
The garter toss was really a riot, I laughed so hard. Watching the looks on the guys faces as the groom removed the garter from the brides leg, was priceless. As the garter flew through the air, they were all falling into each other as they tried desperately to grab it up. What was really funny was that the winner of the garter toss was talked into participating by the other guys and he was a widower in his 70’s. As the old man walked off with the garter in hand he was smiling from ear to ear.
The champagne flutes we raised for the wedding toast had the names of the wedding couple and date of the wedding on them and we were given these flutes as extra little gifts. As soon as the toast was finished, the happy couple took to the dance floor for the traditional bride and grooms first dance. Watching them dancing together, so elegantly, was so moving. After their first dance was over, the dance floor was over run with couples. My poor feet suffered the consequences of my all night dancing.
We all wished the bride and groom good luck as they left for their honeymoon. One of the other guests told me they were honeymooning in Hawaii. They’ll have a honeymoon to equal this fabulous wedding and reception. The rest of us partied until we couldn’t party no more.
It was only a couple of weeks later that I got my thank you card from the happy couple thanking me for sharing their wedding day with them and for the wedding gift I bought for them. I was surprised to receive a thank you so soon. She did let me in on her secret’s online wedding shopping site’s, where she supplied the mikasa crystal wedding and ordered that customized cake topper from. In fact, I’m getting ready to place my order right now for my mom and dad’s anniversary wedding.
