A wintertime theme was my idea of the perfect wedding theme, so we got married in January. There are so many beautiful accessories and reception supplies to make the perfect wintery wedding dream come true. From wedding invitations to wedding favors there are all kinds and styles of accessories to choose from for almost any themed wedding you’re planning to have. We went with a cool blue and silver look to our ceremony. We also had fake snow and lovely candles at the altar, including our winter themed unity candle. The ceremony had a lovely, pristine look to it.
All of the reception tables had red table runners and white tablecloths. We put shimmering silver vases in the center of each table and filled them with lovely white orchids, and they matched the winter theme to a tee. I ran across some snowball ornament place card holders, and I used those for the reception. They double as both card holders and ornaments, and they do a charming job at both. As wedding thank you gifts for our friends and family we decided on these super toasting flutes and little novelty champagne bottles favors with bubbles. If you’re looking for a affordable way to say thank you, champagne flutes do the trick. All of our tables were magnificently set up and shined with all the glitter and glamour of the winter time. We had a wedding cake with three layers; underneath it was a cake stand in the form of a sled, and above it was a cake topper made out of porcelain in the form of a snowflake. Our cake serving set was also a winter themed accessory I found while shopping online. There was an icy blue shade to the handles which was accentuated with white snowflakes. It was an exact match for the sign-in book and pen set I had bought.
For the special champagne toasting flute, we had adorable designed winter wedding themed flutes with handles that were exactly like the cake server set and guestbook. The other things on our wedding table went perfectly with them, and they were designed with a wintery blue and white look with snowflakes mixed in. Our reception guests loved the place card holders and other gifts that they received, and the look of the tables was to die for. The mini tiara our flower girl wore was hers to keep, and we got her a necklace besides, which she was very pleased about. Our ring bearer was excited because he got his own tee shirt and a yo-yo made of stainless steel. For my bridesmaids I chose tank tops with bridesmaid written across in in crystals and for my maid of honor I picked out a maid of honor shirt and a crystal bracelet. My fiance took care of shopping for the guys. He bought a best man mug and a neat pen set for the best man, and everyone else received a battery-operated digital clock. I could tell that all of our friends and family were having a fantastic time at the reception and they all seemed to like the little favors and gifts we bought for them.
Everything at our wedding and reception was fantastic and I owe it all to the wonderful selection of accessories and supplies I found online. We also saved a little money by shopping online, with all the discounts and wholesale items they had to choose from. I found supplies for both the wedding and the honeymoon online. Like the bride and groom hats and tee shirts and the cute little door hanger pillow that says do not disturb. The ‘Do Not Disturb’ pillow ended being a very practical choice.
